We are often asked how to apply window stickers and vinyl transfers for glass, so we have created some simple tips to ensure you achieve the perfect result for your glass vinyl stickers:
- Clean the area where the sticker is to be applied thoroughly with a lint free cloth and glass cleaner, ensuring that any dust and particles are removed.
- Fill a spray bottle with water and add some washing up liquid, a few drops per litre of water (this will help you slide the graphics into position)
- Spray the area with the washing up solution.
- Carefully peel the backing from the sticker starting with a top corner, for large graphics position the top area of the sticker, apply some masking tape to the top edge so that you can peel the rest of the backing without moving the decals and start to smooth downwards over the surface until you reach the bottom.
- Remove any air bubbles by running a small squeegee over the sticker - always start at the centre and work outwards.
- Remove the tape and wipe the sticker dry
