We can encapsulate your printed media. Encapsulation is perfect for increasing the life of the printed sheet with the added advantage of being able to wipe it down which means that it can be used for solutions such as encapsulated menus, point of sale, and heavy use information cards and catalogues.

We can encapsulate from A7 to A1 with the use of different thickness film with various finishes such as matt, soft touch lamination and gloss lamination. Allied to our die cutting facility this can provide a quick and inexpensive solution to prolonging the life of your printed media.

What is encapsulation?

Encapsulation covers both side of a printed sheet in plastic making it completely waterproof.  Once it is encapsulated it makes a very durable and long lasting product, making it perfect for menus for restaurants, documents, signs and paper products for outdoor use.  It also has the added advantage of meaning it can be sanitized or washed down.

What is lamination?

Lamination is the application of a thin layer of plastic to one side of the printed sheet and has a range of finishes from high gloss to a soft touch matt laminate. Lamination extends the life of print by making it more durable. You have probably seen lamination on paper over board binders, notebook, and some presentation boxes.

Both encapsulated and laminated stock can be overprinted, so for example you may require a signature strip or spot UV varnish.
